Bring your youngster for story time each Wednesday at 10 am. Books are nature-themed and selected based on the season. We’ll begin with an interactive song and children will enjoy creating a small craft after the story. Join us the last Wednesday of the month for reading and craft time with the Downtown Library. For groups of 10 or more please call Kodi Clifford at (405) 835-6789.

Tuesday night at Myriad Botanical Gardens has been a place for yogis of all levels to center and recharge. Thanks to our new presenting sponsor Fowler Toyota, and our generous ongoing sponsors Tinker Federal Credit Union and Stephenson Cancer Center, yoga will be offered twice weekly of free.

Practicing yoga in the Gardens has the added benefit of connecting you with nature. Classes are open to all levels, whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi. The Gardens offer a space of beauty and tranquility to help relieve stress and quiet your mind.

Pizzelles are a traditional Italian waffle cookie that can be used in all sorts of ways, not just as cookies! Learn how to make this tasty and beautiful treat and how to dress it up into a snack. We’ll create our pizzelles, decorate them with berries and other healthy toppings as we discuss springtime fruit.

Little Saplings

Join us in the Children’s Garden for an hour of songs, games, and interactive nature fun. Toddlers (and parents!) will get to learn about the exciting world of gardens in an engaging and educational way. Each week features a new theme with corresponding activities and learning opportunities. Every Little Saplings event begins with a song, ends with a sensory bin, and includes a hands-on craft.

Learn the basics and a whole lot more in this session with local expert Dale Spoonemore.  Dale is a self-taught gardener who converted his suburban backyard into an organic farm.  By utilizing real-life application and attempting alternative methods, Dale has built a sustainable garden and works to teach the community how to do the same.

Join us inside the Crystal Bridge for an Easter evening tailored for families with special needs children. This is not an Easter egg hunt, but a fun-filled evening for families and typically developing siblings. There are festive booths and activities for children to visit and collect eggs. Each child is guaranteed 20 eggs. Don’t forget your Easter basket. The Easter Bunny will have a designated spot for photos. This event is made possible through Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation.
