Fairies are known for their great style, and fall fairies are especially colorful! Join us on the Autumn Equinox as we create our very own fall fairies from natural materials. We will read a fairy book for fashion inspiration, then head out for a walk around the Children’s Garden to collect materials to create our fabulous fairies. Costumes welcome!

Join us in the Children’s Garden for an hour of songs, games, and interactive nature fun. Toddlers (and parents!) will get to learn about the exciting world of gardens in an engaging and educational way. Each week features a new theme with corresponding activities and learning opportunities. Every Little Saplings event begins with a song, ends with a sensory bin, and includes a hands-on craft.

Prepare your own herbal medicine kit by learning to make an immune boosting elderberry syrup; a natural vaporizing rub with eucalyptus, thyme and mint; and some appropriate herbs for colds and sore throats with a licorice root, echinacea and sage infusion.

Stephanie Holiman – “I am an herbalist, organic gardener, and permaculture designer.  I grew up in Oklahoma and have been living the past two decades in Santiago, Chile where I started and directed my own company Huerto Hada Verde dedicated to educating others about organic gardening, herbal medicine, and sustainable living practices.”
